As our little ones become older, growing into their personalities; it becomes increasingly challenging to understand how to relate. Daily struggles of navigating through a pandemic, financial stressors and additional life's worries can be insurmountable. During these times it's crucial more than ever to be aware of how your children are adapting and coping.
In working with many individuals who have lost a loved one and someone who has personally experienced grief; I've learned "The most heaviest price we pay for love is death." My most sincerest condolences to those going through grief and loss at this time. Pain during times of loss is a universal language I wish we didn't have to speak. Self-care is challenged during times of grief: loss of appetite, fatigue, increased substance use, insomnia, etc. If this has become your new reality, let's talk.

Nonetheless, it's hard, at times even scary; but know you are not alone.
